(Sacramento)– Support for a state budget that reflects real California values is growing throughout the state. From Southern California, through the Central Valley and along the California Coast to the San Francisco Bay Area and the rest of Northern California people are calling on state lawmakers to approve a new state spending plan that funds education, health care, transportation and care for the elderly, blind and disabled. From Financial Scams
(Sacramento) – California Assemblymember Patty Berg (D-Eureka) has legislation pending that will protect senior citizens from the growing problem
of financial scams. In Assembly Bills 2149 and 2150 Berg calls for tighter control on the language financial consultants and life insurance agents can use
to promote themselves. Specifically it bans them from using a credential or professional designation indicating or implying that he or she has a special
